One more day! Tomorrow is the big release day! Hasn't this release been a blast?!
My first project today is a frame that holds a 4x6 photo. I picked this white frame up at IKEA. I started by stamping Paw Print Background with Hybrid Chocolate Brown Ink. I chose the hybrid formula, knowing it would work better on the frame's surface. It worked ok. If I did it again, I would sand down the frame. Certainly not the ink's fault. User error! But, the more I thought about it, the more I realized that my cat leaves footprints on everything, messy and imperfect, just like these ones!
I think this would be a really great gift to give someone who has lost a pet recently. Thankfully our Milo is healthy, but he is aging, and I know someday we won't have a fur ball running around all crazy at 10:30 at night. The sentiment from I Knead You, is sweet and perfect. It also works perfectly with the die cut image made from Wild Cherry cardstock and Die-namics Pet Accents.
And then Die-namics Dog House was sitting in front of me. How cute is that house?!?! It was begging for a cute dog, so I combined it with You Make My Tail Wag. That dog was made for this house! And of course, he was made that much easier with Die-namics You Make My Tail Wag!
The sentiment is from You Make My Tail Wag and seemed to fit this sad puppy perfectly!
My next post will signal that its time to shop! The store will be open at that time. Be sure and head to the MFT Blog for all the details!
thanks for stopping by!
