Cool Tools Vol. 2 + Giveaway

CoolTools 2014 Cover Cool Tools Link Up!

The latest PRINT special issue from Paper Crafts & Scrapbooking Magazine is now available! Cool Tools Vol. 2 is such a great issue! Incredibly creative ways to use the tools that you have sitting in your crafty space right now! Just look at the cover! Who still has a paper crimper hidden in a box? Be honest. :) That EAT wall hanging would be perfect in anyone's kitchen!

This is one of my projects in the issue. I love the flower on this card. I used a set of dies from Sizzix and Susan Tierney-Cockburn, called Sunflower. Her line of dies is gorgeous! It creates all sorts of flowers, but look at how realistic! Combine the dies with her Garden Tool Kit and you will be able to create works of floral art! The Garden Tool Kit is essential for people who die cut. All the tools help add heaps of dimension and interest with ease!

And while we are talking about publications, I want to encourage you to submit. Yes, you! Right now Paper Crafts & Scrapbooking Magazine has a call out for stamped projects. The PRINT special issue will be called Stamp & Ink. They are looking for amazing stamped projects. Projects with techniques. Awesome techniques! Check out what they are looking for here--Stamp & Ink pub call
Give it a try. So many of you make beautiful cards and I would love to see them in print! Try it, you never know what will catch the editors' eyes!
If you need more information about getting pubbed check out this post here--Publication Tips

Beautiful card!
Clearly the tools I have and don't use enough are my punches... They never seem fit for what I want to make and I go to my digital cutter, even if it's much longer to prepare and use!

Love that pretty sunflower! I'm the same as the above comment; I do not use my punches nearly enough. They're dusty!

What a gorgeous Autumn card! Love the flower. The one tool I don't use enough, you said one, uh.... Well, I'd definitely have to say my stencils. I've collected some beautiful stencils and forget to use them every time! I guess I need to store them closer to my work table! lol Thanks for sharing. Love ya' Patricia B

Ooooh my goodness ... what beautiful projects. Thanks for sharing. The card is awesome.

Hmmmmm - I am thinking I don't use my dies often enough. I see them, I have to have them, I buy them ... and then they park themselves. MUST rectify that!

Pretty card! Well, I do think it's my paper crimper that I don't use enough of.

oh I am in love with this card Kimberly :) I have never heard of this garden tool kit, but when I took a look can see why it would be necessary. I think the tool I don't use enough is my Cricut.

This is a gorgeous card-that flower does look real!
I don't use my Big Kick & dies enough.

I really need to use my die cutter more often!

This is beautiful! My least used tool is my cricut... I tend to use my hand die cut tool more than ever now.

I have a paper crimper that I almost never use. Guess I need to dust it off and put it to work.

I hardly use my electronic die cutter. Most expensive tool I own too. Shame on me.

I have a drawer of lonely tools, waiting to be rediscovered. There are crimpers, a ribbon iron, colored pencils, brads, eyelets, flocking, colors of embossing powder, twinkling H2O, acrylic paints, envelope templates, etc. Needless to say, my stash is numerous!
