Welcome back! Today its all about clean and simple cards. When you have stamps and dies as beautiful as the ones being released by MFT this month, well, they need to shine on their own!
My first card uses a sentiment from the new stamp set, Love Story. Love story is gorgeous. Its everything I love about great fonts and wording that can work for the trendy chalkboard look. But first I stamped a wood grain heart in Grout Grey. (another new set, which will be getting much love from me...much. more soon). Then I stamped the sentiment and added a small die cut heart which was left-over from my camera projects earlier in the week. See, those pieces come in handy! :)
I continued the theme on the inside, but used the distressed heart image from Love Story instead of a die cut.
This set of beautiful Die-Namics, Mini Delicate Doilies, is what you will receive when you order $60 or more this month from MFT. Delicate and lovely, there are a million and a half ways to use these. The set comes with 4 doilies. I die cut each doily from cardstock and adhered it to the same color cardstock panel.
The sentiment was stamped in the coordinating ink to the cardstock. Such a fun and pretty look to create!
And a purchasing hint...intricate die templates sometimes need help getting a perfect cut. To help things out, be sure and purchase the Large Metal Adapter plate from the store when you order. (Link below.) The plate is a shim and makes die cutting Die-namics even better!
