Welcome to this month's Release Countdown with My Favorite Things! You will find complete countdown details each day on the MFT Blog, including how you can win prizes and full reveals of featured products.
Five already? I know. If you noticed on my previous posts, I have days 1 and 2...the new girl forgot it was a Countdown, not each day...chalk it up to overexcitment! And I have fixed my boo-boo. :)
Look at those darling cameras! And the stamps to coordinate?!?! Laina Lamb hit a home run with these!
I began by die cutting the new Die-namics Cute Cameras 2 from both Black Licorice and Primitive Cream cardstock. I die cut them each twice, so I could use the drop outs to decorate. A small heart from the set was also die cut, to put in the lens space. So adorable!
The background is Spearmint cardstock stamped with Typewriter Text Background in Spearmint ink. Using the tone on tone colors of all the MFT coordinating products is terribly addicting!
From the front of the Polaroid-looking camera, I added a stamped piece of cardstock. Using the sentiments from the new LLD Picture This set, I was able to create a sweet Valentine's Day card.
Did you notice the inked edges? I am totally in love with using MFT Natural ink and a sponge applicator! Its perfect!
And a quick look at the inside. A die cut frame from Die-namics Precious Polaroids and two more drop outs. Using extra pieces is a great way to finish off the inside of your cards. Keep them handy!
One more project for today. When I saw the cameras, I started digging in my supply stash of items to alter. When I came across this photo cube, I knew it was perfect!
I grabbed 3 photos and then created these 3 cards to fill in the 6 places in the cube. Its fun to add decorative parts to each of the cameras. And aren't those sentiments perfect? I see them being used in quite a few scrapbook pages! (Not saying I take an obscene amount of photos or anything...)
One last look at the cube. Even the little man said, "Awww! I like it! How cute!" That's the best endorsement I can imagine!
Have you been visiting the MFT blog? You should be! There are so many great products available, that I cannot share them all! Be sure to stop over and see the fabulousness and to see who is sharing project inspiration today!
thanks for stopping by!
