This piece is where this layout started. I used a cling stamp set from JustRite stampers called, You are the Best. It’s a great set because of all the ways you can create a fair ribbon, but also because it can be cut with Spellbinders die templates. You are the Best coordinates with Blossoms Three and Nested Pennants.
I created a notebook edge, using this hole punch and scissors technique I have shared in the past here: Video Tutorial Notebook Edge.
A couple other things to note; I used black cardstock as the base to look like a chalkboard. The flash cards were cut from the patterned paper. (My new patterned paper love. Seriously! I bought the 12x12 and the 8x8!) The photo was edited to remove color, to work with the papers.
All this week there is a blog hop going on with Spellbinders Paper Arts, JustRite Stampers, and Want 2 Scrap. My day is tomorrow, so be sure and stop back and check out all the fun, and as always, the chance to win great prizes! To see the previous days designers, check out the Spellbinders Blog.
Have a wonderful day! thanks for stopping by!

love this layout and its school theme with these products
Love the layout! My granddaughter started kindergarten this week. She was up, dressed, and waiting 2 hours before the bus was scheduled to arrive. She was already before Mom got up. Her 2 year old sister was upset that Sissy went away on the bus without taking her with. She was crying as she walked down the driveway to the house. Of course, Mom had to film her and put it on Facebook. The smart phone was too handy.
Beautiful page, Kimberly, and what an adorable boy!
Kim, this is such a cute layout! I need to get back to scrapbooking soon. :)
