MFT Stamps New Product Launch!

The wait is over! The MFT Stamps September release is live right now! Which means you can head to the MFT Stamps online store and purchase the stamps, dies, stencils, and more that we have been sharing for the last five days! I will wait patiently here while you shop. Or if you are still making up your mind, let me convince you of a few more items you might "need."

Tonight for the launch, I am featuring Soda Pop and Die-namics Soda Pop from the insanely talented Laina Lamb. The more I play with these sets, the more I love them! Scrolling through Pinterest the other night,  I noticed people putting flowers in vintage soda bottles. Perfect. I thought, why not put paper flowers in paper vintage bottles?

Using Sweet Tooth card stock, I die cut Die-namics Modern Blooms and then stamped the coordinating images from Modern Blooms. I added some greenery created with Die-namics Wild Greenery. To create stems for the flowers, I used the straw image from Die-namics Soda Pop. How fun is that!?!?

The vintage bottle from Die-namics Soda Pop was die cut from Sweet Tooth card stock. To add some depth, I applied Sno Cone ink around the outside of the card stock bottle. The bottle was also die cut from clear acetate. I adhered all the flowers and stems to the card stock bottle first, then I layered the clear acetate bottle over the top. To keep it in place, I used Glossy Accents around the outside edge.

Die-namics Pierced Oval Frames was used to cut Sweet Tooth card stock. The inside of the oval was stamped with Gingham Background using Summer Splash ink.

To finish off the card, I stamped this lovely sentiment from Soda Pop onto a banner shape. The banner is Sweet Tooth card stock die cut with Die-namics Fishtail Flags STAX.

For this card, I was again inspired by Pinterest and all the vintage soda signs. This is very loose interpretation, but I still love the results!

This sentiment from Soda Pop is where the card began after the inspiration. After stamping Orange Fizz stripes on an oval created with Die-namics Pierced Oval STAX, I heat embossed the sentiment with white powder.

On the card base, I stamped Snowfall Background with Orange Fizz ink. Doesn't it look like the fizz in soda?!?! I thought it was a fun touch.

The vintage bottle was die cut from Sweet Tooth card stock using Die-namics Soda Pop. But check out the details! I love the label that can be cut and look at that bottle cap!!!!! One more cool thing to mention, how well the sentiment from Soda Pop fits onto the bottle label. See? So much thought and detail!

Visit the MFT Stamp Blog for a chance to win! And to be linked up to the rest of the team. They have once again hit it out of the park with all their projects this month!

thanks for stopping by!
