One last look at the fantastic January release from My Favorite Things! The design team is showing off a last few projects to inspire you while you wait for your order, or maybe just convince you to pick up that one last item!
After being completely inspired by a card I saw on Pinterest, I started this card by stamping a heart from All My Love with Persimmon and Peach Bellini inks onto Sweet Tooth cardstock.
Then I cut a heart from Sweet Tooth cardstock using Die-namics Pierced Heart STAX. The sentiment is from I Love You More and it was stamped with Persimmon ink.
I layered the heart on Wild Cherry and Persimmon cardstock strips that had been cut with Die-namics Pierced Fishtail Flags STAX.
To hang the heart on the card, I colored Hemp Cord with Persimmon ink using my Mini Ink Blending Tool. A hole was punched in the top of the heart. I also added a piece of foam to the heart to help keep it in place. The Sweet Tooth cardstock base was stamped with Diagonal Stripes Background in Blueberry Ink.
Head to the MFT Blog to see who is sharing today and who will be sharing again tomorrow! Sorry for a short and sweet post, but this girl leaves for California and CHA (Craft and Hobby Association Mega Show) on Friday morning! So much to do, so little time! I will be sure and share about what I saw when I get back. You can count on me Instagramming while I am there!
thanks for stopping by!
