My Favorite Things November Product Launch

Its time! The wait is over! The October release products from MFT Stamps are now available in the store! If you are still trying to decide what to purchase, hop along with the team, and if you already know, stop on back for inspiration while you wait for your order to arrive!

Tonight I am featuring Die-namics Quilt Square Cover Up. What a cool concept this die is! The die comes in all once piece. And in one pass, you get the outline of the quilt square, along with all the inside pieces. Its pretty clever!

I passed my Die-namics Quilt Square Cover Up through my manual die cutting machine several times, each time with a different color of cardstock. For this card I used Sno Cone, Blu Raspberry, and Sour Apple. The pieces easily fit inside the frame, making mixing and matching patterns a breeze!

The sentiment is Sweet Tooth cardstock cut with Die-namics Words of Gratitude. Simple sentiment to allow the background to speak for itself.

The sentiment set this card up, scroll down and check it out. I again just passed several colors of cardstock through my manual die cutting machine with Die-namics Quilt Square Cover Up.

The stitched detail on each of the inside pieces is perfect!

And here is the sentiment. I tried to make a bright and crazy quilt based on it. The sentiment is from Stitched With Love, along with the top and bottom stitching detail images.

And because I can't just use a product as-is, I got a little creative. While I was laying out the pieces for my other cards, I noticed that the large, inside parallelograms kind of looked like a snowflake.

I cut Sweet Tooth cardstock with Die-namics Quilt Square Cover Up and used only the large pieces. I lined it up by hand, but you could certainly use the frame. A Whip Cream button tied with hemp cord was added to the center of the snowflake.

The background was stamped with Sweater Stitch Background. Because I knew I wanted to heat emboss my sentiment from Grand Holiday in white powder, with the slightly wet background, I chose to stamp the sentiment on another panel of Wild Cherry cardstock.

There you have it! Another release in the books! Head over to the MFT Blog for all the details, chances to win, and more!

thanks for stopping by this release and for all your sweet comments! :)
