The fun of WCMD just continues on! In this post I am showing some super duper simple cards.
All one-layer. These cards make it easy to create several dozen!
I love images that can stand alone on a white card base. These cute images from Lawn Fawn make a perfect focal point. When using simple images like this, stamp them towards the top of your card. I added a shadow under the tree with a Copic marker (BV20) to add depth, without bulk.
I stamped small snowflakes with blue ink, scattering them around the images. I have a slight addiction to enamel dots. In this situation, that won't do. If I am making 30 cards, I will never have enough dots, and it will cost me more to mail because of the bumps in the envelope.
Mail-able Card Idea #5:
Instead of adding enamel dots or sequins, which add bulk, and can add cost to mailing, use small stamped images. For more depth from these images, stamp without re-inking in between impressions.
This card is crazy simple. But, if you have a hefty list of people who need cards, this may be the answer for you. The sentiment is all one stamp. Ink. Stamp. Repeat.
To step it up, I added some score lines using my Scor Pal. It highlights the sentiment, adds depth, but no bulk.
Mail-able Card Idea #6:
Create a pattern using a scoring tool. Add lines, or even create a plaid pattern.
My next two posts will have video tutorials and "fancier" looking techniques. see you soon! thanks for stopping by!
PRIZE DETAILS:

I love these kind of cards too! Super pretty!
Your second card might be a bit "too simple" for my taste, but I adore the first one! Simple, yet cheerful... also love your mail-able card tips, keep them coming!

Love both the cards! Love the dry embossing on the second card.
These are cute and right up my alley as I tend to wait too long getting started on holiday cards.
Simply wonderful! Love having ideas for easily mass-produced cards!

Wonderful cards!!! LOVE the idea of using small stamped images instead of enamel dots or other 3D embellishments!!!
