More beautiful products from My Favorite Things and their November release again today! You can see why I have been in heaven creating in my office for the past couple of weeks!
The reindeer image on this card is actually from a set that is really meant for scrapbooking (Document It Holiday Traditions by Laina Lamb). But its so darn cute, I had to use it on a card as well!
I started by stamping a piece of chalkstock (cardstock with a chalkboard surface) with a sentiment from Cheerful Christmas Greetings in Whip Cream ink. The coverage of this pigment ink formula is fantastic! Look at how perfectly it stamps the chalkstock!
A strip of the grey patterned paper was stamped in steel blue ink with the Woodgrain Background stamp.
And finally, I used Holiday Traditions to stamp the reindeer image. Its been heat embossed with white powder. And the pinking circle behind it? Its a coordinating die template set (for Holiday Traditions) and it is called Accent It Holiday Traditions Elements Die-Namics.
That leads me into this next project. As you know, I have been loving Project Life or pocket-style scrapbooking this year. Each of those little pockets is a small card waiting to be stamped and designed!
For the past couple of years, I have been doing a December Daily album. Keeping track of all the fun traditions and other activities we take part in during the holiday season. Now, we don't have a photo worthy moment every day, so I just keep track of the traditions and special moments.
I am using Document It Holiday Traditions and the coordinating die template set, Accent It Holiday Traditions Elements Die-Namics for my album this year, but to give you a peek of what I will be doing, I grabbed a few photos from years past.
The grey patterned paper was stamped with Striped Backgrounds. The journaling card was stamped with snowflakes. I also die cut the snowflakes out to add dimension along with die cutting and stamping the circle image. Its so much fun to mix and match with all the stamps and dies!
To keep track of the date of each of these images, I die cut this arrow image and then stamped it with the coordinating image. The number comes from Little Numbers. They fit perfectly together. I did adhere these to the photo, as that doesn't bother me. And the size is perfect too!
Another card with more stamps and dies. The word December is from Accent It December Memories Die-Namics. That set of dies includes more words, keep scrolling. :)
Another card. The stamped words fit on the label shape in the Accent It Holiday Traditions Elements Die-Namics. These sets are so well planned out!
More peeks at more images and coordinating dies.
And one final look at a couple more words from Accent It December Memories Die-Namics.
thanks for stopping by!
