rainbow greetings: MFT Stamps May Release now available

The wait is over! The MFT Stamps Release is live right now! Which means you can head to the MFT Stamps online store and purchase the stamps, dies, stencils, and more that we have been sharing for the last five days! I will wait patiently here while you shop. Or if you are still making up your mind, let me convince you of a few more items you might "need."

Tonight I am focusing on the stamp set, Rainbow Greetings. I love, love, love sentiment stamp sets! You can pair them with anything-die cut images, ink scenes, patterned papers, and well, anything! This set of stamps has 10 sentiments with a great mix of fonts.

To create my background I used several colors of premium dye inks (see the supply list below), blending them together as I moved down the card stock panel. Then I placed the new One Way Chevron Stencil over the top. Using a mini ink blending tool, I applied Flitter Glu through the stencil openings. Then I applied Warm Diamond Glitter over the glue. Its such a lovely fine glitter and look at the amazing background it created!

The fun background was to highlight the sentiment from Rainbow Greetings. It makes for a wonderful card when everything focuses towards the sentiment, the true meaning of the card! I stamped the sentiment on a piece of vellum. Then heat embossed it with white powder. To finish the card off, I added a few clear drops with Glossy Accents

Rainbow Greetings pairs perfectly with Die-namics End of the Rainbow. I began by cutting the pieces I needed to create the rainbow and adhered them to my card stock panel. Die-namics End of the Rainbow comes with a cloud image as well. To add some sparkle and shine to this card, I decided to die cut the cloud from a piece of card stock that was covered in adhesive. I applied a sheet of adhesive to my card stock panel, then die cut the images. Once I removed the backing, I poured glitter over the entire surface, burnishing it in with my finger. I wish you could see all the shine in person!

On one of the clouds, not covered in glitter, I stamped the sentiment from Rainbow Greetings. It fit perfectly! Once I read the sentiment, I knew my card needed one more touch. I had sent the rainbow, but not the sunshine! Using Die-namics Radiant Sun, I die cut yellow card stock and added the perfect finishing touch.

Visit the MFT Stamps blog for all the information you will need about the now-available release. That includes product images, product videos, links to the design team projects, and more! Plus, there always seems to be a chance to win!

thanks for stopping by!

Both cards were beautiful and is it just me but did both cards have a "rainbow" theme to it? However I love the first one. I'm kinda new to this scene and I'm trying ink blending for the first time. I'm learning that paper for ink blending is crucial. So are there papers you prefer to use with different inks?

Been meaning to ask all the designers that question but forget :p
