bunnies and dinosaurs; MFT Stamps March Release Countdown continues

Welcome to the MFT Stamps Release Countdown! For the next few days we will be sharing projects featuring the new stamps, dies, stencils, and colors that will be releasing this month. You will be able to purchase any of the products you see over the next few days on Tuesday, March 1, 2016 at 9 pm Central.

All I need to say is Birdie Brown and you know it will be adorable! Strike up the Band and Strike Up the Band Die-namics are no excception! These adorable bunnies and their instruments will make you smile and sing!

The z-fold card base was made from a standard card base! To learn more about this card, it is a part of the FREE release class that MFT Stamps offers each month. Be sure and check the blog on release night, or MFT Stamps' YouTube Channel, because each of the class projects has printable directions and supply lists, along with a video tutorial! How great is that?!

Prehistoric Fun and Prehistoric Fun Die-namics has two dinosaurs that can face each other, along with several images to create a great scene around them!

When I saw the sentiment, I knew I had to make the dinosaurs stare at each other. Now that we are aging, my husband and I often refer to ourselves as old dinosaurs! Ha! So this will be a card for him! I stamped the dinosaurs, trees, and leaves with Hybrid Black Licorice Ink and used my beloved color pencils to color them. The soft effect makes me happy! There is a cloud outline image in Prehistoric Fun that I used to stamp on the card base. But to add depth and interest, I added two die cut clouds from Prehistoric Fun Die-namics.

We cutting images from Prehistoric Fun Die-namics, I noticed that the usual "blob" die that cuts out the stamped images was pretty great on its own, so I decided to go super clean and simple with this card. Perfect for a little boy who needs a lunchbox note, or a backpack note, or a special note on his pillow.

I heat embossed the sweet sentiment with white powder. I love how clean this looks. I was thinking you could make several of these in different colors and place them in wall frames for cute little boy room decor! So much fun!

Visit the MFT Stamps blog for all the information you will need about the upcoming release. That includes product images, product videos, links to the design team projects, and more! Plus, there always seems to be a chance to win!

thanks for stopping by!

All 3 cards are awesome, but I'm in love with the marching card! My high school marches for the school band and would totally love that card!!! Too cute! You must have spent so much time on that one alone! Obviously that stamp set is going to have to come live at my house :-)

Wow...all three cards are so nice. But I just love the marching band card. It must have taken you some time to colour each one of those mice so beautifully and perfect.

What wonderful cards. My kids were in the marching band during high school and I think they would get such a kick out of this stamp set. It makes such fun scene cards. The dinosaurs do also. And I love the sentiments!
