I don't know about my favorite christmas present of all time, but this year I gave myself two favorite presents - a MISTI and a new smart phone =) I also got a movie I had wished for that I was very happy about too!

My favorite Christmas gift of all time was a photo album put together by my Dad. It includes family photos from when I was born to when I had my first child.

I love following your blog and always look forward to your inspiring projects. My favourite Xmas present would have to be when I was around 10yrs old and riding a very old and very small second-hand bike because we didn't have much money and my parents told me they couldn't afford a new one. I came out Xmas morning to find a brand new pink 10-speed bike. I looked after that bike like it was worth a million dollars because it meant so much to me!!

Happy New Year 2016!! Fabulous card. Best present was my baby.

What lovely card!! It's going to sound strange my favorite Christmas gift was the year my Dad died right before Christmas and we focused on spending time together as a family rather than on gifts. A sad, but wonderful memory!

Happy New Year! Your card is beautiful! I love the watercolouring and the gold and vellum.

Fav Christmas present is easy. I received many dolls and tea sets and pretty things over my many years but one memorable gift was a set of glitter glue sticks and some cardstock pictures to paint it on. I can still recall the feeling of joy I felt as I sat down right then and there to squeeze the little lines of glittery happiness out of the tubes and onto the pictures. It didn't matter what they were of, I just wanted to paint the glitter on and watch is sparkle, much like I still do with my bottles of stickes and glitter. Happy ~sigh!~

Well, about 25 years ago, I was married about 3 years then I asked for a Kitchen Aid mixer they were not so everyday then more for bakers, everyone thought my husband was nuts for buying me a mixer. I was thrilled and still use it today. It is my favorite gift ever.

This happened quite awhile ago, thanks for helping me to remember it. I played flute all during high school and considered music as my major in college, but went in another direction. My youngest sister, on the other hand, is a musician, and she inherited my flute. One Christmas probably 15 years after, she got me a new flute to have at home. Such a sweet thing to do, and yes, I still have it. Maybe I should get it out again and play!

Love your work - thanks for the giveawy to MFT, one of my favorite companies!

I just saw all your sheep cards before arriving at the hop post, and they are absolutely darling!
My favorite Christmas gift is really Jesus. I know it might sound obvious, but without His willingness to come to earth and live a perfect life as a human and then die on the cross for my sins, I would have no hope for the future. Because of His sacrifice, I now have a certain, secure future for all eternity!
May the Lord richly bless you in the new year and always!

MFT is one of my favorite stamp stores and you are one of my favorite DT member. I'm always inspired by your work and your cardmaking style is right up my alley. My favorite Christmas gift this year was a cute, cute gift cardholder (with a Costco gift card). What made it my favorite is that it came from a neighbor who I introduced to the world of stamping. I'm proud to have her as a stamping buddy and seeing her flourish as a cardmaker is an honor.

My favorite gift...? Well, every holiday is a gift when you have cancer at age 30 (and that was over 20 years ago). But this year: My hubby surprised me with a scarf I had coveted (we never gift each other!) and it's what he said that was the gift: This is because you have hung in there through a tough transition (new job...not loving it), and continued to be a love wife and mama to our children through it all." That piece of kindness and understanding was the real gift.

It's funny how Christmases seem to merge together in memories. Thinking back, one special Christmas (back in 1981), my boyfriend gave me a John Deere toy tractor, representing the model he worked on as an engineer at John Deere. I didn't think too much of it, especially being a girl who was not interested in tractors! That boyfriend then proposed to me a week later on New Year's Day. We married in 1983 and I love him more than ever! This year, he will celebrate his 37th year at John Deere. That tractor holds a special place on a shelf in our home!

I've gotten some beautiful gifts over the years but that one will always my favorite and be best gift I'll ever get in my entire life :) Love your videos, cards and techniques. Beautiful card. My favorite gift was from my, at the time boyfriend, now my husband. We visited Door County and I loved a stained glass Nativity set. Although everything closed down in the late fall, he was able to track the owner of the store down and buy the nativity scene from his warehouse and surprise me with it at Xmas. It was the most thoughtful and unexpected gift ever. Thanks for stirring up that memory!

I love your cards! I'm definately going to be following this blog. Hard to say what my favorite Christmas present of all time was. I've had a lot of Christmases and a lot of great gifts. Last year my fiance sent a ring to where I was going to be on Christmas and the ring was perfect. This year my grandson gave me a visit to the Phoenix Escape Room -- with him. And my son always finds unique things. This year a book of the Christmas Carol in English and French side by side.

That is a beautiful card with the gold leaves and soft watercolor. My favorite is not a thing but a memory. One year we weren't going to be home on Christmas and I was afraid I would miss Santa. As my mom was getting me out of the bathtub I heard thumping on the house. She said she thought it was Santa and sure enough after I was dressed I went out and there were presents under the tree. I'm 72 and still remember that I HEARD Santa come to my house!

My favourite X-mas gifts of all time were not gifts. One happened just BEFORE x-mas when my (now husband) longtime crush and ex-boyfriend asked me to give him another chance... (You bet I did!!) The other one was having one final and wonderful Christmas together with my mom, full of laughter and shenanigans, before she passed away a few days later, 13 years ago. I actually saved a piece of the wrapping of a book she gave me, though. Her handwritten note means the world to me, now.
Okay. Corniness over! ;)

My favorite Christmas present of all time was when I as newly married. We were young and quite broke. I had carried a lace fan with daisies down the aisle. My husband and had agreed we wouldn't exchange gifts that first Christmas since money was so tight. He snuck out my bridal fan and had the dead flowers replaced with silk daises. He wrapped it and gave it to me for Christmas. I thought it was a very thoughtful gesture and have always remembered it with fondness.
