The MFT Stamps October Release Countdown Begins!

Welcome to the start of the MFT Stamps October Release Countdown! For the next 5 days we will be sharing projects featuring the new stamps, dies, stencils, and colors that will be releasing this month. You will be able to purchase any of the products you see over the next few days on Tuesday, October 6 at 9 pm Central. Turn on your Christmas music playlist, put Elf in the DVD player, grab some hot chocolate and get ready for some fantastic holiday season projects heading your way!

To kick things off, I am helping you early bird shoppers out with gift wrapping! Die-namics Tag Builder Blueprints 4 is here and the timing is perfect! I had more fun creating tags with this set of dies! All the images work perfectly together, allowing you to layer and embellish to coordinate with any of your gift wrap!

The tags in Die-namics Tag Builder Blueprints 4 all have layers to allow you to create shaker tags! Eeee! So much fun! And dies make it incredibly easy to make them too! I started by cutting the banner tag from Sweet Tooth card stock. Then I cut Gold Sparkle card stock with the same die, plus its inside match. I used a small piece of low-tack tape to keep the dies perfectly separated while passing them through my manual die cutting machine. Acetate was also die cut with the same large tag die template. See? Perfect layers!

Glue was applied to the back of the gold tag and the acetate was adhered to create the shaker window. Foam tape was trimmed to fit and placed all around the edges to create the well for the fun fillers. Die-namics Tag Builder Blueprints 4 comes with dies that can create the fillers, so using Black Licorice card stock, I cut the small hexagons. Those, along with Star Sequins, and Seed Beads were placed inside the well.

I stamped the no peeking sentiment from the coordinating set, Gift Tag Greetings onto the Sweet Tooth card stock tag. The backing was removed from all the foam tape and I placed the white tag onto the gold tag. When the layers are all exactly the same, aligning your pieces is easy, even when upside down!

For this one, the circle tag from Die-namics Blueprints 4 was cut from Gold Sparkle card stock. The inner circle cut from Sweet Tooth card stock and heat embossed with a holly and berry image from Gift Tag Greetings.

The banner pieces were cut from Black Licorice card stock and the black striped paper from Dots and Stripes Neutrals Paper Pack. On the black piece, a sentiment from Gift Tag Greetings was heat embossed with white powder. I love how well all the pieces fit together, no matter how you layer them!

The color scheme continues...how cute is that From Santa sentiment from Gift Tag Greetings? The tags and star are both from Die-namics Tag Builders Blueprints 4.

And one more tag. This is where the whole tag collection today started. The basic tag. I cut it twice, once from Sweet Tooth card stock and once from Gold Sparkle card stock. Then I trimmed the Gold Sparkle card stock tag with scissors by going bottom corner to upper corner. Added a small strip of Dots and Stripes Neutrals Paper Pack and a sentiment from Gift Tag Greetings. As you can see, these all just started falling into place as soon as I started cutting! So much fun!

I have a question for you, Kimberly... on the MFT blog today, there's a card of yours with green chevron background paper that says happy holidays. I love that sentiment (the font is perfect!) is this a set that is going to be released this week, or is it something that was released previously?
