Fall Florals; MFT Stamps September Release Countdown continues

Over the last few days it has been cool and cloudy, which is making me feel ready for fall. Its superb timing really, with all the wonderful fall products being released by MFT Stamps this month!

For today's card, I wanted the new stamp and Die-namics set,  Fall Florals to really say fall with an autumnal color palette. So, I grabbed my Pure Plum ink and stamped the image from Fall Florals onto its coordinating die cut image. This image has a coordinating inside, so I stamped that with Olive ink.

To give my floral images a background, I started by inking a panel of Primitive White card stock with Banana Split ink. I masked the panel off with post it note tape. To add depth to the rectangle of ink, I added a bit of Lemon Drop ink to the edges. To tie the floral image and the background together, I dropped splatters of Pure Plum ink that was watered down.

The purple floral image needed something more to help it stand out. It made sense to keep things cohesive, so the same floral image that was stamped inside was stamped twice onto the background with Olive ink.

The sentiment is from Label Maker Sentiments. Its a new stamp set with coordinating dies that creates words like an old Dymo label maker. I chose to stamp the images and heat emboss them with gold powder, because, you know how much I love gold! You can mix and match and build sentiments like crazy with this set! Its essential if you are a card maker!!

The card base is Fuse Green that was stamped with Etched Flower Background. Olive ink was used and at first I was afraid it was too strong, but it worked because of the Olive stamped images. So much coordination, but all of those details really tied this card together.

Visit the MFT Stamps Blog for product images and videos. The rest of the team will also be linked there, so you can check out all kinds of inspiration!

thanks for stopping by!
