making custom clips for cards and planners; MFT July New Product Launch

It is time! Head to the MFT Stamps online store now and shop for all the fantastic new stamps and dies that have been shared over the last several days! Its been quite the birthday celebration around here! And go ahead and shop, I will wait patiently right here.

Die-namics Hip Clips is set of dies that brings a plethora of creative possibilities! Not only could I make cute clips for my planner, but I can also use them on cards!

I started by cutting Gold Foil Card Stock with Die-namics Hip Clips. Aren't they pretty? The shine. The perfect cut! Each of the clips has an opening allowing you to slide the clip onto paper.

Then I cut all the fun doo-dads out from various card stocks. I chose colors that would work well with my planner because I like to be all matchy like that. By cutting all these pieces from Die-namics Hip Clips, it gave me the freedom to layer and create without over-thinking. It became plain old fun!

Swimming is huge in our house. HUGE. A special clip for swimming was needed. To create this clip, I die cut a second clip from Sweet Tooth card stock. Then I trimmed the bottom away. I adhered it over the gold, giving me a space to stamp.  I stamped the swim word and image from Family Life Planner. Then I added a few of the stars from Die-namics Hip Clips. How fun would it be to create lots of custom clips?!?!

The clip on the left is shiny and pretty. The one on the right is also pretty and dimensional! I have long loved the enamel clips sold in scrapbooking collections and now I can make my own!

The larger circle image from Die-namics Hip Clips was die cut from Sweet Tooth card stock. Im teh center of the circle, I stamped a heart from Birthday Wishes and Balloons in Coral Crush ink. Then I applied Glossy Accents to the image. The embossed line of the image gave me a great guideline. Once it dried, I adhered it to a gold card stock clip. I will be making a ton of these too!

One last cool feature of Die-namics Hip Clips to share with you. Check out the clip on the right, the all gold clip.

It was created by die-cutting the clip again with this small row of stars! Seriously creative! There is a row of hearts as well. But it gets better, they go both ways! One die goes vertical and one goes horizontal!

If you don't use a planner, you can also use these clips as adorable embellishments on a card. I used two of my clips to hold a panel stamped with a sentiment from Birthday Wishes and Balloons. Such a fun touch!

Die-namics Creative Clips is another set of dies that is pretty fun! I used this set very simply,  creating some darling banners with the new Plaid Patterns Paper Pack.

The set comes with dies to make a small bow. Who could resist? So many great possibilities!
