double emboss resist + video tutorial

Welcome to another MFT Stamps challenge! This time its all about the ink and more specifically, emboss resist. This challenge is titled Resistance is Futile. If you are a fellow sci-fi nerd, you will love that title as much as I do! And if you are not, who could "resist" playing along with this challenge!? Ha!

Emboss resist is one of my all-time favorite techniques! There are about a million ways to achieve some amazing looks with this technique and I am going to make it a million and one! Double emboss resist is what I am calling this technique because I add another layer to the classic way of doing things.

In a traditional emboss resist, you stamp an image with clear ink and use clear or white embossing powder to heat set the image. Then color is applied over the top and the heat embossed images show through. I add another layer of texture with stamping and I show you how in the video tutorial below.

thanks for stopping by!!
