watercolor butterfly: MFT June Release Countdown

When you have beautiful products in front of you, making a card is a breeze. This card took me about 15 minutes to make from start to finish. No joke. And I think that is what I love about MFT Stamps products the most; they are always gorgeous! From the stamps to the dies to the inks, its incredible what you can create!

My card for today truly started with the new flourish die-cut image, Die-namics Pierced Fancy Flourish. Its elegant and lovely. I cut two flourishes from Sweet Tooth cardstock wanting to use both, but they are too large to stay within the space of an A2 card. No problem, I trimmed a little off the ends of each one. It is designed that well. The brilliance always blows my mind!

I adhered only the ends of each of the flourishes, to add dimension. Then I moved onto another stunning product, Die-namics Flutter of Butterflies Solid. And yes, that name means exactly what you think it means; there are also detailed butterflies in another set! Heaven! I cut this butterfly image and its coordinating body from water color paper

A Tropical Teal ink pad was pushed into my craft mat and spritzed with water. Using a paintbrush, I added color to the entire body image and only to the outer edges of the wings. Simple, easy to create, and beautiful. Love it!
