love, love, and sprinkles: MFT February Release Countdown

Its almost time! The February Release is almost live in the MFT Stamps store! When my next post goes live, its time to shop! (Which is Tuesday, February 3, at 9 pm Central.)

Today I had fun playing with Die-namics Stitched Jumbo Fishtail Banner STAX! Its a lot to say, so let's just call them awesome!! I just cut and cut and played around and these cards are the results of all my fun!

The first thing I created was this darling shaker! I cut Sweet Tooth cardstock with Die-namics Stitched Jumbo Fishtail Banner STAX. I layered two of the Die-namics together and held them in place while passing them through my manual die cutting machine with low-tack tape. That made the window you see in the front. How cute is that?! I cut another largest banner from the same cardstock, but only use one die, to create the back for my shaker.

The top frame banner was stamped with Hybrid Black Licorice ink using Diagonal Stripe Background. Then I adhered a piece of acetate to the back. (Cut the acetate with the banner die that fits, to make things easier.) Then I applied foam adhesive all around the edges. I filled the inside with sequins and small hearts cut from Pink Lemonade cardstock using Die-namics Candy Jars. A banner was adhered to the top, then I flipped the whole thing over. On the top, I added a small bow made from Pink Lemonade cardstock and Die-namics Beautiful Bows.

The Sno Cone card base was inked with Sno Cone ink through the new Stencil Harlequin. I applied more ink to the outside edges and used less ink towards the center. The sentiment from Donuts and Sprinkles was stamped with Hybrid Black Licorice ink. I think this would be a perfect birthday card!

Looking at another of the largest banners from Die-namics Stitched Jumbo Fishtail Banner STAX, I wondered what would happen if I cut Die-namics LOVE from it. So, I secured the die over the banner with low-tack tape and passed it through my manual die cutting machine. I love it!

Behind the front banner, I added the same size banner, just cut from Pink Lemonade cardstock. It was also stamped with Polka Dot Background in coordinating ink.

Another panel of Pink Lemonade cardstock was cut to fit and stamped with Striped Background using Insulation Pink ink. I went for a lighter color ink to make the stripes less obvious.

The gold heart was cut using Die-namics Blueprints 22.

And my final card, where I channel Keisha Campbell who makes my heart pitter patter with her beautiful creations. The card base is Steel Grey cardstock stamped with Romantic Script Background.

A large banner was cut from Sweet Tooth cardstock using Die-namics Stitched Jumbo Fishtail Banner STAX. It was stamped with watermark ink using Tiny Heart Background and then heat embossed with gold powder.

I layered a strip of gold metallic paper to the top of the tag. Then I cut Die-namics Love from Steel Grey cardstock. The hemp cord was tied into a bow and clipped on with a clothespin.

Visit the MFT Blog for more details about this wonderful release! And don't forget about all the fun happening on the MFT Challenge blog too!

thanks for stopping by!

These are lovely! My fave is the first, because of the sentiment with the sequins. Just wanted to say I saw your fortune cookie project in the Papercrafts Feb edition (I have two projects in there too and am just now looking at the mag) and I love it! My husband's birthday is Feb 14 and I'm always trying to think of new ways to celebrate. Definitely doing this!
