have a sweet day; Creative Construction with Blueprints

Welcome to another cool monthly post being brought to you my MFT Stamps and the MFT Stamps design team! Creative Construction with Blueprints is all about using the fantastic sets of Die-namics Blueprints to create beautiful cards easily! Our challenge is to mix and match different sets of
Die-namics Blueprints and have fun with the results!

Today I mixed together Die-namics Blueprints 16 and Die-namics Blueprints 19. Each set has unique panels and shapes that make card making a breeze! Seriously, I made these in less than an hour. I grabbed my papers for my color palette and a few stamps. The rest just fell into place! How great is that?!!

I began by stamping Spearmint cardstock with Polka Dot Background with Spearmint ink. Then I die the cardstock with the bracket frame die from Blueprints 19. It gave me two pieces, this bracket square you can see above, and then the frame you can see in the card below.

To create this dimensional flower, I cut Coral Crush cardstock three times with the flower die from Blueprints 19. By bending up the sides a little more on each layer, I was able to create a pretty flower. And a small Whip Cream button fit perfectly inside. The leaves were created by cutting Sour Apple cardstock with the small banner dies from Blueprints 16. No leaves, no problem, get creative!

The sentiment is from Delicious Birthday. It was stamped in Hybrid Black Licorice ink onto Sweet Tooth cardstock. The sentiment matched the look of my card and fit perfectly on the notch-end label I cut from Die-namics Blueprints 16.

The Sweet Tooth cardstock card base was stamped with Pin Stripe Background in Peach Bellini ink. I adhered the bracket square panel to the base with foam adhesive.

Here you can see the outside frame created from my original die cut. I foam mounted it to a panel of Sweet Tooth cardstock that was stamped with Striped Background. I used Versamark Watermark ink to stamp the stripes and heat embossed it with gold powder.

Happy was cut from Black Licorice cardstock using Die-namics Happy. I cut it twice and layered it for a more solid look. The stars are gold foiled and created with Die-namics Blueprints 16 and adhesive sheets (video very, very soon. like tomorrow.)
