bringing some spring with the MFT March Release Countdown

Welcome to the March Release Countdown for MFT Stamps! Its all about spring and our beloved pets this month! Stay tuned for all the amazing new products that the design team will be featuring over the next few days!

Lisa Johnson just gets my stampy heart. Truly. She always creates beautiful images that let me create fantastic cards, but also get a little creative! This month she added some fantastic Die-namics to the pile and I have been in heaven! I have more ideas than time for these sets! Circle Scribble Flowers, Die-namics Scribbles, and Die-namics Circle Scribbles Flowers are a must-have!

I started by cutting Persimmon and Sour Apple cardstock with Die-namics Circle Scribbles Flowers. Those cuts created the circle and the leaves. Then I cut gold metallic paper with Die-namics Scribbles to create those awesome overlays! I made a small and large flower. The other thing I love is, check out those leaves. They have been stamped with coordinating images from Circle Scribble Flowers using Sour Apple ink.

The striped background I placed the flowers on was hand painted with watercolor I created from Summer Splash ink refills and water. The gold line was created with a Wink of Stella pen. The sentiment is from another new set called, Totally Happy. Fabulous sentiments!

This second card features the latest in the series; Die-namics Blueprints 23. I cut the rectangular and stitched panel from Sweet Tooth cardstock and painted the stripes with created watercolor again, this time with Coral Crush ink refill. The scalloped edges are also a part of the Blueprints set.

Behind the circles cut out, using the die from Die-namics Blueprints 23, is Coral Crush cardstock.

On the center circle, I placed a gold circle cut using Die-namics Scribbles. Atop that, a vellum butterfly cut with Die-namics Winged Beauties. The sentiment was stamped in Summer Splash ink onto a Sweet Tooth cardstock banner cut with another element from Die-namics Blueprints 23.

One final touch, a couple of sequins created with yet another element from Die-namics Blueprints 23. They are Summer Splash cardstock with a touch of Mix-ABLES Sheer Sparkle Glitter Glaze on the top of each one for shine.

Visit the MFT Blog for all the countdown details, you know there is good stuff happening. And maybe new colors? Wink, wink.

thanks for stopping by!

You did a great job of stripe painting. Both cards are nice looking. Those two, the Blueprints 23 and the Circle Scribble Flowers, make a good pair.

Love the strip background.

Love your first card. Before reading the post, I thought the stripes were pieces of white paper cut in strips with one edge distressed.
