so much to love; MFT January New Product Launch

Its time! The wait is over! The January release productsincluding all the new color Replenishments, from MFT Stamps are now available in the store! If you are still trying to decide what to purchase, hop along with the team, and if you already know, stop on back for inspiration while you wait for your order to arrive!

Tonight I am sharing projects with two different products and both made project making a blast! I had more fun creating these and I hope they inspire you! My first project is this simple banner that makes a cute decoration for Valentine's Day.

I stamped this sentiment from I Love You More using the new Ripe Raspberry ink and Bubblegum ink onto Sweet Tooth cardstock. (Thanks for the inspiration Lisa Johnson!) Then I cut it out with Die-namics Tag Builders Blueprints 3

It looked so cute, that I cut two more and stamped each one with another sentiment from I Love You More, this time only in Ripe Raspberry ink. I strung all three scalloped rectangles on a long piece of twine and hung it from the chalkboard in our entryway.

Then I cut Sweet Tooth cardstock with Die-namics Pierced Heart STAX. I cut two of each, so that I could adhere the twine between each heart and hang them. Isn't that cute?! I also cut Ripe Raspberry cardstock with Die-namics Pierced Heart STAX and hung those from the ends of the twine.

A little side note: to cover up where I hung the hearts from the twine, I tied bows over the top. Cute touch. Great way to hide the not-so-pretty parts. ;)

Staying with the same color scheme, I began stamping the i heart you phrase from I Love You More in Ripe Raspberry ink on Ripe Raspberry cardstock.

I accented the dots on the i's and the hearts with a white paint pen.

To finish off my card, I added layered hearts. The large heart was created by die cutting two hearts, one larger and one the next size down, from Sweet Tooth cardstock, using Die-namics Pierced Heart STAX. Its easy to create mini frames by passing them through your machine at the same time. Be sure that they do not touch each other, however.

Then I used Die-namics Straight to the Heart to cut more Sweet Tooth cardstock. I foam mounted the arrow to the hearts. (I trimmed small pieces of foam to fit behind the letters.)

Hello little mailbox. You make me happy. You are from Target. You have chalkboard finishes. You were $1. You have a heart on the front. And now because of awesome MFT products, you launched yourself straight to unbelievably adorable!!!

I stamped the sentiment from I Love You More in Sweet Tooth Pigment ink. Then I slowly and carefully heat set the ink. I took several passes over several minutes, to be sure that I didn't bubble the chalkboard paint that makes the heart. I repeated the same process for the i heart you sentiment on the side.

I created mini cards to fit inside the mailbox. These are 4.25x5.5" panels of Sweet Tooth cardstock that were scored in half (hamburger fold). The heart is Ripe Raspberry cardstock that was cut with Die-namics Pierced Heart STAX.

The sentiment is from I Love You More and it is stamped in Ripe Raspberry ink.

So much fun! So many great products this month! Head over to the MFT Blog and see all the new products, all the new colors, and so much more! Plus there is a chance to win, again!

thanks for stopping by!
