MFT Release Rewind

One last look at the fantastic December release from My Favorite Things! The design team is showing off a last few projects to inspire you while you wait for your order, or maybe just convince you to pick up that one last item!

So many beautiful new products and so little time! :) Today is the day that we get to share a few more projects that just didn't fit into the rest of the week. Which is good, because I have so many more ideas to share!

I started by cutting the Free with $60 purchase item, Die-namics Friend from a Sweet Tooth cardstock base. This die is clever in the fact that it cuts only the word out, leaving the base intact! Then I painted the letters with Tropical Teal ink that I added water too. My favorite way to make watercolors!

Behind the cut out, I added a panel of Persimmon Cardstock. It had been stamped with the dot image from Friends Like Us with Persimmon ink.

Around the word friend, I stamped flowers and leaves and dots from Desert Bouquet in Peach Bellini, Persimmon, and Limelight ink. All those fabulous new colors!

This one is a little out-of-the-box. When I was cutting Die-namics Go With It the other day, one of the arrows looked like a modern Christmas tree. Well, I attempted to go traditional with the card, but it didn't work, so I went modern and non-traditional and I love it!

The sentiment is from Merry Messages and was stamped in Tropical Teal and Wild Wisteria inks. I also stamped a new "snowflakes" using a starburst image from Whimsical Wishes. Its in Sno Cone ink, so it is very light, but when you hold it in your hand, its perfect!

There will be two days of more sharing, so keep visiting the MFT Blog for all the details!

thanks for stopping by!

Love the Christmas card. An unusual color combination but it is a relief from all of the bright red and green.
thanks for sharing two great cards.

Very fun card, using the arrow as a modern xmas tree. That's really thinking outside the box. Thanks for sharing.
