Stay Warm with the MFT November Release Countdown

Welcome to this month's Release Countdown with My Favorite Things! You will find complete details each day on the MFT Blog, including how you can win prizes and full reveals of featured products.

Birdie Brown has done it yet again with Cool Day and Die-namics Cool Day! The perfect blend of cuteness and whimsy! And perfect for those winter days ahead!

Die-namics Cool Day was cut from Sweet Tooth cardstock. I then stamped the Cool Day images with Hybrid Black Licorice ink. The polar bear was colored with color pencil. I stamped the mug a second time, colored it, trimmed it out, and foam mounted it to the original image, just add a bit more depth.

Our cute polar bear is layered onto two pieces of cardstock. I die cut Primitive White and Nightshift Blue cardstock with Stitched Rounded Rectangle STAX. The Primitive White rectangle was cut a second time with Die-namics Stitched Snow Drifts. The reason I didn't just cut the white cardstock with the border is, I wanted the stitching look to continue all the way around the base layer. Before adhering the two layers together, I stamped the blue panel with Snowfall Background using Sweet Tooth ink.

One final touch to note on the snow drifts, is the very top. I added a bit of sparkle but applying a thin line of MIX-ables Sheer Sparkle Glitter Glaze. Click the photo above for an even closer look.

The Kraft card base was stamped with Fine Chevron Background in Grout Grey ink. And the two little hearts came from Die-namics Cool Day. Such a fun little touch!

I stuck with many of the same looks for this card, except I used a different polar bear from Cool Day. And I added the ice chunk or iceberg. How cute is that?!?!

The layer on the card base is, Sno Cone cardstock that was cut with Die-namics Stitched Rounded Rectangle STAX. It was stamped with Snowfall Background in Sweet Tooth ink

The MFT Blog is your stop for all the details, including one SUPER HUGE announcement made yesterday!! Did you see it?!! If not run to the blog and check it out! It had the whole team jumping up and down for joy!

thanks for stopping by!

The snowfall stamp adds so much to enhance your background and make the focal image pop.
