Its Sweater Weather with the MFT November Release Countdown

Welcome to this month's Release Countdown with My Favorite Things! You will find complete details each day on the MFT Blog, including how you can win prizes and full reveals of featured products.

It truly is sweater weather here in the Midwest this week! Brrr! Those winds are brutal! Good thing I have these cozy images and dies to keep me warm!

On this first card, Die-namics Comfy Sweater was cut from Primitive White cardstock. I stamped it with Nordic Knits in Grout Grey ink, covering the entire sweater. Then I stamped another image from Nordic Knits with Wild Cherry ink. I was trying to mimic the Scandinavian sweater look.

The card base was layered with Sno Cone cardstock cut with Die-namics Blueprints 20, along with another panel cut from Primitive White cardstock. Can you say obsessed? The layers from Die-namics Blueprints 20 are fantastic!

One last touch to my card was a hanger. I mean, its time to pull those sweaters out of the back of the closet! I made the hanger with a small piece of wire. Its simple, bend and twist. :)

Ugly sweaters are all the rage, from proudly wearing them to throwing parties all about them! I was amazed as I walked through Target yesterday at all the fun surrounding ugly sweaters! So, when I saw the sentiment in Cozy Greetings, I could no longer resist!

Another sweater was cut out using Die-namics Comfy Sweater and Primitive White cardstock. I stamped the flower image from Cozy Mittens and colored the center with a colored pencil. One cool feature of
Die-namics Comfy Sweater is that the set comes with the cuffs and collars and bottoms! Great way to add a matching or not-so-matching touch!

To emphasize the sweater look, the card base was stamped with Sweater Stitch Background. I used Wild Cherry cardstock and coordinating ink. And there is another peek at Die-namics Blueprints 20! See, I cannot help myself! :)

So who is excited about the new pigment inks?!?! Me!! Head over to the MFT Blog for more information. Plus, some fantastic video looks at the new products releasing this month!

thanks for stopping by!

Love your first card, the subtle grey inking with the cheerful red is a perfect combination! And love that wire hanger!

OK, in all truth, I'd NEVER be caught dead wearing a sweater as ugly as the Poinsettia design - EXCEPT for over the holidays :-) Love both of these gorgeous cards!

It's sweater weather here, too. I love the cards, but I don't think I could wear the poinsettia one :-)
