MFT Release Countdown; Santa Claus

Welcome to this month's Release Countdown with My Favorite Things! You will find complete details each day on the MFT Blog, including how you can win prizes and full reveals of featured products.

Who's in the holiday spirit? How could you not be with all the gorgeous products that we have been peeking for the October release? Let's keep the merriment going with today's projects!

A jolly hello. How cute is he? Christmas Cuteness from Miss Tiina is cute. Adorable. Its adorable times two because there are also coordinating dies! Die-namics Christmas Cuteness will be available also!

I cut Die-namics Christmas Cuteness from Sweet Tooth cardstock, stamped him in Hybrid Black Licorice ink, and colored him in with colored pencil. Don't forget to use a little grey to add shadows to his white beard.

To layer him in snow, I cut Die-namics Stitched Snowdrifts from strips of Sweet Tooth cardstock. I used two different dies on two different strips. I adhered those strips to a piece of Kraft cardstock. I cut the entire panel with Die-namics Stitched Traditional Tags. How awesome is the stitching detail on all those images?

The background is Electric Red cardstock that was stamped in Sweet Tooth ink with Snowfall Background. I just.can't.put.that.stamp.down!

This is a small piece of home decor. The painted wood piece measures about 3x5." I started by stamping the snowflake and sentiment from Christmas Cuteness with Sweet Tooth ink. I did a little heat set and with in 24 hours, it was set. Happy discovery.

I die cut Die-namics Christmas Cuteness from Kraft cardstock, both the reindeer and Santa. After stamping them with Hybrid Black Licorice ink, I then colored them with colored pencil. And of course, the reindeer had to be Rudolph. :)

Each day we are getting a little bit closer! Head over to the MFT Blog for more product images and videos to see the products in action!

thanks for stopping by!

The layered vine is such a super addition to the already wonderfully-made card. I particularly like the 'plaque' which has Christmas Cuteness used and has a color-combo I like. Good job on both.
