MFT Release Countdown; The Nice List

Welcome to this month's Release Countdown with My Favorite Things! You will find complete details each day on the MFT Blog, including how you can win prizes and full reveals of featured products.

Hello! Happy Thursday!  Today's peek have a little something for everyone. Super cute and classy!

Birdie Brown is at it again! Look at this Santa and his little friend! So adorable! Jingle All the Way is a darling stamp set with coordinating dies! Die-namics Jingle All the Way will have you coloring and die cutting the images all day!

I die cut Die-namics Jingle All the Way images from Sweet Tooth cardstock, stamped the Jingle All the Way images in Hybrid Black Licorice Ink, and colored them with color pencil.

Before adhering the images to my card, I created a few layers. I started by stamping and heat embossing Snowfall Background onto Sno Cone cardstock. I then die cut a panel of Sweet Tooth cardstock with
Die-namics Stitched Oval STAX. It didn't turn out the way I expected. Keep in mind when you are die cutting with this set of dies, that the stitch marks are on the inside. Blond moment, much? I am saving my stitched oval for another project. :)

I foam mounted the white cardstock panel to my card base and then continued adding dimension by foam mounting my new friends. It still needed one last touch, so I die cut Die-namics Beautiful Bows from Electric Red cardstock and adhered it to the top of the oval.

And now the classy products. I started with the gorgeous Die-namics Pierced Snowflakes. This set of dies has three beautiful snowflakes, full of detail. I just had to cut it from metallic gold paper. And what goes with gold, in my mind at least, burlap and kraft! I love the contrast between the two!

Look at the details on Die-namics Pierced Snowflakes!!!

To finish off this card, I added words, along with an ampersand from Merry Messages. Wanting the ampersand image to be more in the background I stamped it with Natural Ink, while the words were stamped in Chocolate Brown ink.

As always, be sure and head over to the MFT Blog and see who is sharing projects today, watch videos, and see the product images. Plus, there is a chance to win! Yay!

thanks for stopping by!

I love both of your cards, but who'da thought burlap to go with a snowflake? You did and rightly so. It's wonderful. Good job.
