MFT September Release Countdown; Embossing Stencils

Welcome to this month's Release Countdown with My Favorite Things! You will find complete details each day on the MFT Blog, including how you can win prizes and full reveals of featured products.

So this card is sooo cute in real life! The white is difficult to photograph. I am hoping this image above gives you a better look at the cool background I was able to create with Stencil Jumbled Letters!

Creating the background was super easy because you can emboss with stencils! Did you know that? All you need to do is place your paper and your stencil on one of your plates for your manual die cutting machine. Then top it with the embossing pad from Spellbinders and pass it through your machine with your embossing plates. I think that is such a cool way to use your stencils!

I added this darling girl image from Birdie Brown's latest, Class Act. She has a coordinating set of dies too called Die-namics Class Act! I love when that happens! I colored her with color pencil and blender pencil. The sentiment from Class Act is stamped onto a Die-namics Fishtail Flags STAX pennant cut from Sweet Tooth cardstock.

Head over to the MFT Blog and check out this month's guest designer! She is pretty great and I am thrilled that she is joining us this month!

thanks for stopping by!

Thanks for the stencil tip, and I like how there is so much white behind the Class Act girl. Good job.
