MFT Release Countdown: Frightfully Sweet

Welcome to this month's Release Countdown with My Favorite Things! You will find complete details each day on the MFT Blog, including how you can win prizes and full reveals of featured products.

I must have had Halloween on the brain because when I looked at the stamp set Office Space and Die-namics Office Space, I saw a potion bottle and not a computer screen. (creative or just dingy? you decide.) So, I ran with it and made this card.

I cut Die-namics Office space from Primitive White cardstock and repeated with Sour Apple cardstock. But with the Sour Apple version, I cut it again with Die-namics Dripping Goo Edge. Isn't that fun and spooky?!

I layered the pieces together and inked the edges with Natural ink. A spider web and spider were added in Black Licorice ink from Trick or Treat. And the skull is from Spooky Sentiments.

A couple of "bottles" were stamped onto a piece of Kraft cardstock to add some depth and make it look like a shelf of potions. Cheesecloth Background was stamped with Natural ink and a couple of stars from Star Background.

And finally, the sentiment from Spooky Sentiments. After I stamped it, I thought, yikes! That is kind of wicked! Here is a bottle of poison and hope things are sweet?!?! Better send this one to a good friend who will laugh at it! :)

The MFT Blog has a ton of more information for you, and probable some cards that show how Office Space should really be used! Be sure and visit our guest designer this month, you can get linked up her to blog over there too!

Wow I love how the cheesecloth background stamp makes the Kraft cardstock look more like burlap! Too neat.

An upside down computer looking like a flask/bottle... great find. I like every element you used, the colors, and that distressing sure adds a lot to your card.
