MFT March Release Rewind

Welcome back! Today is a day for us to share some last projects that we didn't get around to sharing during the Release Countdown. And one last chance to help you fill up that shopping cart. As if you needed any help with all the beautiful product being released by MFT this month! :)

Another layout today, seems I am on a scrapping kick! But the beautiful sentiments in Chalkboard Greetings Too worked wonderfully with some photos I had of my son swimming this season. Don't worry, I won't turn this into another proud mom post. :)

I started by using Die-namics Blueprints 13 to die cut Sour Apple cardstock. Using coordinating Sour Apple ink, I stamped Wood Plank Background onto the pennant shape. Once it dried for a moment, then I stamped the sentiment from Chalkboard Greetings Too.

To add some fun color and texture, I used Stencil Waves and Sno Cone ink. I moved the stencil back and forth so the ends were not perfectly lined up. And I also avoiding inking all the way to the end of the stencil as well. I thought it created a nice natural look that wasn't too harsh. I loooove how it turned out! To add the splats I used watered-down re-inker.

To create both the star elements, I die cut the pinked circle, circle and star from Die-namics Blueprints 13. The Sno Cone cardstock circle was stamped with Wood Plank Background. Do you see how addicted I am to tone-on-tone stamping? :) The Orange Fizz star was stamped with the striped star from Magical Memories. And the washi-looking piece underneath was created with one of the dies from Die-namics Blueprints 13 and stamps from Washi Patterns. Along with the other borders down to the left.

And there you have it. The March release from MFT is in the books! What an amazing line-up of products again this month!

thanks for stopping by!
