MFT February Release Rewind

We have come to the end of all the peeks of the amazing stamps and Die-namics now available in the MFT online store! Its time to shop and then stalk the mailman! Again this month, I am amazed at how brilliantly everything works together!

For today's card, I pulled out new and oldie-but-goodie products that all worked perfectly together. I started by die cutting Sno Cone cardstock with Die-namics Making Waves. When I left all the pieces together, it created a unique background. The bottom row of waves was stamped with Washi Patterns in Sno Cone ink. Love the tone on tone. And one last touch to add to the scene is the clouds. Sweet Tooth Felt was die cut with Die-namics Flat-Bottomed Clouds. I just got my hands on them and I could not help myself. My card HAD to have soft, puffy clouds! :)

The sailboat was created by die cutting different materials with Die-namics Sailboat. The hull and mast were die cut from woven paper and the sails from linen paper. I stamped on the sails with Typewriter Text Background in Kraft ink. The heart is from Die-namics Cute Cameras 2 in Electric Red cardstock. Adding the heart makes more sense once you open the card.

I repeated many elements from the front of my card on the inside. The sentiment from Go Overboard makes this a great card for Valentine's Day.

The Release Rewind goes for the next two days, so be sure and stop over to the MFT Blog and see who is playing along when.

We have another design team Creative Challenge coming up on the 25th...and I have some fun news! I will be starting another video tutorial series! My series will be kicked off by my project for the challenge. I cannot wait! More details soon!

thanks for stopping by!

Like the way that the waves look like a swirling wind when they're on top of the card.

Great card! Love the in-lay waves and the puffy clouds! The sailboat looks great using the specialty papers!

Love the paper you used for the sails and the boat. The texture adds so much. The creative background is nice as well.

Great cards, Kimberly! Especially love how you pieced the waves back together - so clever!
