My Favorite Things January Product Launch!

Can you believe it?!!? Its time!! Run to the store and pick up all the beautiful stamps and Die-namics releasing this month from My Favorite Things!!

I will wait for you to come back. You can also the photos at the bottom of this post to take you directly to products in the store to start your shopping fun! :)

My first project showing off the new stamps and Die-namics, Heart Balloons, is a candy sucker holder. I die cut the new Transform-ables Heart Full of Love Die-namics from Sno Cone cardstock. To create the card-style sucker holder, start by scoring your cardstock. Fold it like you would a card. Place your die template over the fold, leaving a small amount of the top edge of the die showing. If you don't do this, the die will cut all the way through, not leaving a folded edge. Hold the die template in place with a small piece of low-tack tape and cut.

The front of the heart holder was stamped with Darling Dots in Whip Cream ink. Then I stamped and die cut the heart balloon images. Twine was tied to the front balloon and wound down the stick.

The back was stamped with a perfectly coordinating sentiment from the set along with a small heart image. To keep the suckers in place, I simply ran a strip of adhesive down the center of the both the front and back of the holder on the inside.

Having stamps with coordinating dies is the best thing to ever happen to paper crafting! The ideas are limitless! Using my Heart Balloons Die-namics, I die cut a PostIt note with the coordinating heart image I had already stamped on my cardstock. This made a mask for me to use while I stamped the polka dots on my too plain background.

Here is a closer look at the masked spot.

And the inside. I used one of the "string" images as a straight line to meet up with the two hearts that were stamped first

One more project tonight. This set doesn't have to just be for Valentine's Day! It has sentiments for basic heart-felt cards!

Again, I repeatedly die cut and stamped the balloon images. (Wow, that makes my life easier!) I layered all my hearts once the string image was stamped. A Dimensional Banner Die-namics was die cut and stamped with the thanks sentiment. And because it needed something, I added shine to my red balloon with Glossy Accents. Now I want to make them all shiny!

Now, along with being able to purchase all these wonderful products tonight...there is more good news!! Visit each of the MFT Designer's January Product Launch posts linked on the MFT Blog and leave a comment by the end of the day on Thursday, January 9, for your chance to WIN one of TWO $100 Gift Vouchers! The winners will be chosen at random and the prizes sent out on January 10. Ready? Set? Comment!

thanks for stopping by!
