My Favorite Things January Release Countdown Day Seven

Welcome to this month's Release Countdown with My Favorite Things! You will find complete countdown details each day on the MFT Blog, including how you can win prizes and full reveals of featured products.

EEE! Today is my first day posting as a design team member!! Thank you all for your sweet comments and wishes and emails yesterday!! It absolutely made my day and put an even bigger smile on my face!!

My first project uses the latest from Lisa Johnson Designs; a stamp set called, Love's the Ticket, and new Die-namics called, Die-namics Ticket Note. Perfection for Valentine's Day! I created a cute little gift for my hubby using them both.

The Die-namics Ticket Note has two parts. The largest part creates a ticket holder that scores at the center and has a brilliant tab to hold it closed. The second part is a ticket. Not only does it make cute tickets for inside the holder, but it is also scaled down enough to layer on the front. I will be using the ticket OFTEN.

Here is a look at all the die cut tickets that I stamped upon. You can see the border stamp, numbers, dates, and the best image, the 'good for one' with a blank line. It worked perfectly to add fun gifts for my hubby. His favorite one is "boy movie."

A small heart is also included in the set, making it easy to add a touch of color and more love to the tickets.

One more project for today. This time with Pure Innocence stamps. Who can resist? I colored her very sparsely to create a softer look to the image. And because of her cute mailbox, I HAD to make my very own!

I started with Die-namics Treat Tote. Cut the largest piece twice from Steel Grey cardstock. Assemble, but trim the tabs away from one side and allow it to stay open.

Cover the top with a piece of cardstock trimmed to 4"x6." For the back, die cut the third (from the smallest) Pierced Oval STAX Die-namics and adhere.

For the flag, die cut one of the handles from the Treat Tote set from Electric Red cardstock. Trim away two of the sections, leaving behind one with a hole. Die cut a heart from the same cardstock using another soon-to-be released set of Die-namics called, Staggered Hearts Border. Apply the flag to the mailbox using a brad. Fill with large amounts of chocolate. ;)

What do you think? Day one and this release is already amazing!! Be sure and visit the MFT Blog for more details, a list of the rest of the design team who will be inspiring you today, product photos, and chances for prizes!

See you again tomorrow! thanks for stopping by!
