Color Inspiration

Color Inspiration for Card Makers

The latest special issue from Paper Crafts Magazine, called Color Inspiration, is now on the shelf. This issue is stunning. I mean it. I cannot put it down. The designers, the details, the color combos, the eye candy. This is inspiration at its best. I am so thrilled to have several cards in this issue. Its a true honor to be included!

Here is a quick look at one of my projects in the issue. This issue pushed me to a place that was unique. Color does not usually play a factor when I start designing a card. I choose a piece of paper or a stamp and go from there. This required a ton of thinking and working, but it was so FUN! :)

A quick tip to share…I didn’t have any grey Fun Flock on hand, so I mixed together black and white. It worked perfectly. Another reason to not throw away empty jars. :)

thanks for stopping by!

Ok, it's back to Michaels I go. I'm so excited to get this magazine. hopefully it can help me when it comes to choosing complimentary colors and how to make the cards I make look "good".
