video tutorial

Gratitude Day 17: Lunch dates with my hubby. Being in a new place, we don’t have any baby sitters yet, so our dates are lunch. The little man goes to day care one day a week. He has since he was 7 months old. Its good for him to have to listen to another adult and to play with other children. And let’s face it, its good for mommy! :) And now its good for daddy. Adult conversation at any place we choose to eat. Ahhhh. Something not involving pizza, toys, or loud music. Yesterday was a lunch date day. Great day!

For today, I am going to share a video tutorial. Its a quick look at how I cover wood with patterned paper. Its a little peek of my project for tomorrow-Spellbinders blog hop day (Holiday Hoppin’)!! Day one of day two starts today. Check out where to start HERE.

What are you thankful for today? thanks for stopping by!

I don't have very good luck with Mod Podge either so I'll get some Elmers Tacky Glue and try it. Thanks for the video!

Today I am thankful for pain medications. I have a dental appt. today and I'll pop some Tylenol before I leave. I'm also grateful for my fibromyalgia meds that I can pop when the pain gets unbearable. I'm also very, very grateful I got to spend some quality alone time with my babygrandgirl last nite :). We love to laugh together.

Only mid-afternoon as I write this note of gratitude,but so far it has been a productive day. Always grateful for days of accomplishment, in this case a work assignment for a local ministry; plus got started on some other work projects. Looking forward to an evening of relaxation.

I am thankful for machines that help me do my job of taking care of those I love ... washer, dryer, dishwasher. I remember all to well the days of going to the laundrymat and doing all our dishes by hand. I am blessed to have such machines in our home now and won't take them for granted that's for sure. {good video - thanks for always inspiring me}
