This contest is now closed. Winners will be announced on September 21 at the Paper Crafts Connections blog. My winner will also be posted, here. Thank you for visiting!

Its the most wonderful time of the year!! Oh, how I love Christmas and the latest special issue from Paper Crafts Magazine, Holiday Cards & More Vol. 5 has put me in the spirit!! The issue is available now and you can pick yours up HERE.

I am thrilled to have quite a few cards in this issue. Every project in this issue is amazing and I am quite honored to be in it! Making Christmas projects always brings back such wonderful memories for me. My family has traditions that go back to when my dad was born. Its truly amazing to see all my cousin’s children, along with my little man, participating in those same traditions. A big part of those memories include music. And singing my lungs out to Christmas music in July, while working on this call, definitely inspires me. :)

PC HCM Blog Hop Gift Bag

For today, we were all given directions to use to create a unique project, especially for this hop. You can download the directions for the bag I used today, HERE. You can see the original project in the issue: Holiday Plaid Gift Bag (p. 104) by Becky Olsen. This is a cute and easy to make bag. Its just perfect for a sleeve of golf balls, which in my family is very handy for the holidays! :)

PC HCM Blog Hop Gift Bag CU Tag

The tag on the front was made with Spellbinders Heirloom Ornament 2010 and a stamp from Hero Arts, from the clear set, Get Merry.

Here is the fun and best part of today! Checking out what everyone else has created! Look at this list of designers! Wow! Make sure and visit each blog and leave a comment, because you will have 12 chances to win an amazing prize, and if you leave a comment at Paper Crafts Connection, where you can see the prize package and the original projects that inspired this hop, you will have 13 chances! Well, as far as my fave Christmas song, it would be "I Saw Three Ships". The reason is that it reminds me of my childhood when my parents played Christmas music and we had this album with this song on it. It's not very common, but I just love it! Your bag is spectacular! I love the detail you have used on it.

Love this! I really want to make some of the bags now. I only hope mine would be half as nice. My very favorite Christmas song is Harry Connick Jr.'s version of Ave Maria, because it reminds me of my grandmother, it was her favorite song.

Wow! This is great - the idea that this box is the right size for a sleeve golfballs, that's great!

And favorite Christmas song would probably be 'All I Want For Christmas' from the movie Love Actually.

Thanks so much for the inspiration!

Lovely gift bag you created....great colors!
My favorite Christmas song has to be the one by John Lennon....and the only reason is....my husband recorded all 5 children singing it while he played the guitar and sang along with them. Just to hear their precious voices singing those lyrics makes me get teary eyed everytime I listen to the cd. (That was our Christmas present to family members a couple of years ago.)

I love everything about your box - the bow, berries, die cut, colors - everything! My favorite Christmas song is Jingle Bell Rock. When I was about 10yrs. old, I got a record player for Christmas with that record. I played it over and over again, probably til February. Don't think it was mom and dad's favorite song! ;)

Beautiful gift bag. Love the ornament and the bow! I absolutely love White Christmas sung by Bing Crosby. Love his voice and the song embodies Christmas for me - I love the scene in the movie where they are all dressed in red and white and it's snowing. So beautiful.

My favorite Christmas song is "O Come All Ye Faithful" because (1) it is beautiful and (2) years ago, in Latin class, I learned the latin words for the first couple of lines and I still remember them so I always sing those first two lines in Latin and the rest in English. Iris
