Not so School Basics and a Video Tutorial

For You

One trend I noticed at CHA was notebook lines. Thick, dotted, elementary school line paper. Almost everyone had a piece in their collection. I also noticed a few seasonally colored lined papers. The handwriting line stamp in this set is going to allow you to make your own handwriting paper, for whatever project you are working on! There is nothing school or teachery about this card. :)

For You CU words

Because all the word stamps are separate, you can build your own sentiments. Here is a list of sentiments you can make, non-school sentiments.

  • for you
  • you’re the best
  • thank you

For You CU Flower

I also made this flower from the stamps in the set. By stamping the leaf several times on patterned paper, I was able to create the flower.

For You CU Notebook Edge

And one last fun feature of this card-the notebook edge. I made that without an edge punch or die template. And to show you how, I made a quick video tutorial. If you need the direct link, click here: NOTEBOOK EDGE

thanks for stopping by!

Wonderful card. It's great to see that a set can be used "out of the box" like you did with the flower.
Congrats to the winner (a little bummed it wasn' me)!

That's so pretty! I love your idea about notebook paper! I have a punch but it makes the more boxy looking notebook paper, I'll keep this in mind for a rounder look!
