RSC #116 and lots of tidbits

6a00e54ef2e29988330120a58efde2970c-500wi

I took the time this week to play along with Dawn McVey’s Raspberry Suite Color Challenge. I LOVE these colors and my friend Heidi will laugh and tell you that they are “my colors.” :) I do love these neutral colors!!

Reach for the Highest Star RSC16

So my background kind of takes away from the color challenge, but I wanted to make the darling little erasers in the Cosmo Cricket Boyfriend paper stick out. I have to tell you, it was fun just pulling out everything in my stash that would work with these colors. It was kind of fun to see where it ended up. And there is now a large pile of inspiration pieces to play with later. :)

Supplies: Stamps-Papertrey Ink (Star Prints), October Afternoon (Story Time), Patterned paper-Cosmo Cricket (Boyfriend, Earth Love), October Afternoon (Cherry Hill), Cardstock-Papertrey Ink (Kraft, Vintage Cream), Ink-Palette (Summer Sunrise, Dark Chocolate) Clearsnap (Colorbox Chalk Creamy Brown), Twine-Papertrey Ink (Rustic White), Star clip-Making Memories, EK Success Star Punch

Have you seen the class that Stampendous and Paper Craft Planet have put together? Its called, Back to Basics Stamping Techniques. Its a wonderful class that is 12 weeks long. Each week there is a lesson and a challenge to create a card using the technique taught. This is perfect for someone who has never stamped before, or someone who is looking to brush up on some forgotten skills. :) Did I mention that they are giving away a LOT of prizes? :) Sign up for the class at Paper Craft Planet HERE. You must be a member, but it only takes a few seconds to get membership.

There is a wonderful scrapbooking site called, Chatty Scrappers. A friend of mine and a former design team mate from Scrap Lovers, Rick, has started an ezine. He was sweet enough to feature me in the, things to try section. Its a great place and you can see the ezine HERE.

There is one more place that you need to check out, and this one is called, Memory Scrapbooks. While they are an online store, they have a blog that is SO full of great tips and tricks and ideas, you might find yourself being there for a couple of hours…Bookmark it and visit when you need some inspiration need to get your brain into clever, creative, and crafty mode! :)

Whew! That was a ton of info! I will draw the winner at 12 noon (CST) today (from the RAK post yesterday) and post the results tomorrow. :) thanks so much for stopping by!
