Just Rite Week! For Your Garden

I think my need for spring is showing with this project. We can't plant around here until after Memorial Day...this also came about when I happened to have two stamp sets laying next to each other on my table. When I saw the flowers from the Our Craft Lounge set and the font and circles from Just Rite, it was my aha moment.
The box is from this template again. I thought it would be perfect to hold seed packets and little picks to label the seedlings. I used my 2nd favorite paper from the My Mind's Eye Bloom line and paired it again with the intense teal.

To close the box, I used a small piece of velcro. When using velcro to close a box or card, I find it easier to put the two sides together and then adhere the velcro.

Here is a closer look at the seed packets. I folded a piece of cardstock in half and closed it with a belly band. It will be easy to slide a seed packet inside.
To create the flower circles, I stamped the flowers first. Then I created a mask and stamped the circles over the mask. The inside of the circles were colored with my BG10 Copic marker.

A peek at how the packets open. The packets were also stamped with the little seed packet image from the stamp set.

I used the same technique to create the plant picks, but added a scalloped circle to the background and a punched out butterfly. The picks are made with a bamboo skewer that you can find at the grocery store. They trim to size easily with a wire cutter.
I hope that you have enjoyed JustRite week with the Stamper's Dream team!! Check out what Carolyn has created for today and then check out the blog candy that Michelle has!
I hope you have a wonderful weekend and I have a fun announcement to make tomorrow! :)

This is absolutely perfect kim! I love all the details and I have been looking for a good teal. I think intense teal just might be the ticket! Now if you have any ideas on a nice robin's egg blue (vintage style) I would love any hints on where to look. Great project, so well put together and just lovely!
