Flourishes Timeless Tuesday: Vellum

Its a Timeless Tuesday Challenge with the Friends of Flourishes Blogger team. Silke is our hostess with the mostest this week, and she challenged us to use vellum.
Check out what the rest of the team created:
Becca Feeken
Betty Wright
Cindy Haffner
Silke Ledlow
And remember, we are challenging you too! Join in the fun! When you post your card to SCS use the keyword FTTC4. And link it back to the Flourishes Newsletter. Have fun!

I used vellum to create these butterflies. I am SO in love with these die butterflies from Spellbinders. You might be sick of them shortly! :)
Next to the butterflies, my next favorite part of this card is (no, not the houndstooth :)) but the frame. I created the frame using my Label One Nestabilities to make the flower shape. Then I cut a square out of the center. I foam-mounted the frame to a piece of pink patterned paper.
Have a wonderful day! thank you for stopping by!
Supplies:

Patterned paper-Basic Grey (Sultry)

Love the Linen Vellum...I so wish I had some left so I could play in the challenge, but I'm out of it completely (plain or linen). Your card is beautiful. I love the nestie frame!

Beautiful, Kim! Love those vellum butterflies!

Thanks for the kinds words on my blog! :) That's so funny about the Mt. Dew! This lady at my work came up to my desk the other day, and she commented on the empty cans I had everywhere, and she was like "Haven't you heard of the Diane Sawyer story about Mt. Dew?" And I was like what? She said there was some story about the kids in the Appalachains that drink mt. dew from infancy and their teeth rot before they grow or something? I laughed at her and told her I never had a cavity...she was SHOCKED! LOL! It MUST be a MN thing!! :)

I love your vellum butterflies, they are so sweet. I said on my blog that vellum and me don't agree but after seeing all you ladies wonderful cards I think I have to rethink my thinking if that makes sense. Pat ( Julie Koerber's mother) I'm ditsy like her too.
