Flourishes Timeless Tuesday: Buttons

"It is time for Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge!!!! Thanks so much for all who played along with us last week. This week Betty Wright is hosting the Timeless Tuesday Challenge. It seems that buttons are everywhere. Whether they are tiny or huge, colorful or clear, slick or textured, or even stamped, they are one of the hottest items out there. So, this week your challenge is to use buttons!!!! While we are on the subject of buttons, would you like our Timeless Tuesday button for your blog, check out the Flourishes Newsletter for information and to find out who won last weeks Timeless Tuesday Challenge!!!! Check out the Flourishes Newsletter for all the details about this week's challenge. "
I have been wanting to use this paper from Basic Grey's Urban Prairie collection for some time and today, it just fell into place. Yay!
This button was made with a clear button and patterned paper. I used a clear-drying adhesive on the button and placed in on the patterned paper. Once it dried, I trimmed away the extra paper and pierced the holes.

I took the button challenge one step father and made a row of clear buttons. Once again, I used a clear-drying adhesive.
With the black background, I wanted the sentiment to stand out, so I embossed it with white powder.
Check out what the rest of the team created:
Can't wait to see what you create!!! thanks for stopping by!

Supplies:
Patterned paper-Basic Grey Urban Prairie
Stamps-Flourishes (Many Sentiments)
Cardstock-Papertrey Ink, Bazzill
Buttons-Hero Arts
Twine-Martha Stewart
Ribbon-Papertrey Ink

How fun are those buttons! I am such a hoarder just the thought of using so many on one card makes me cringe LOL! Love the button tied over the bow and the scallop effect of the bottom buttons is fabulous!
