Dymo Caption Maker and Dymo Contest

I made the journaling for this layout using the Dymo Caption Maker. It reads:
"Can I keep you this way forever? You are sweet, cuddly, talkative, inquisitive, curious, and funny. Every moment with you is a treasure."

The Dymo label company has a new tool out for scrapbookers. They graciously sent me one to try out. I wanted to share how it works with you.

The Caption Maker comes with a bag and 3 font cartridges. It also comes with one roll of the tape, in black. Other colors are available for purchase.

The three fonts. All wonderful. The front one has a star, heart, and sunshine too! :)

Here is where you insert the tape. You can also cut small (3/8") strips of patterned paper into the machine. Sand the letters a bit and you have custom tape. Oh, I need to do that soon! :)

The best innovation with the new version, is this little tab that it creates when it cuts. Brilliant! No more trying, in vain, to remove the backing, this tab helps you.

You can see how it pulls the backing away. SO much better than my old label maker!!
This is a great tool! Fun for all paper crafters!
Here is a great contest that you can enter using the Caption Maker:
The link is having issues, so I wanted to inform you that the deadline for entering a scrapbook layout is Dec. 31. Great timing for those of you who get some crafty time over the break. The winning layout will be featured in a Dymo ad in major magazines.
thanks for stopping by!

I really need to get better about keeping up with my scrapbooking. I used to be SOOO on top of it...maybe that'll be my new year's resolution. :)

I am so excited to see this label maker...when I was a little girl everyone used this same type of labeler for labeling things in the home and the garage..my grandpa had one he used quite often and I loved making labels with my name or telling him I loved him and sticking it to his lunchbox!
