flyer guy

My DH is in the aviation industry, so it is no surprise that DS loves airplanes, jets, helicopters, and "daddy's airplanes." I was just playing with him on the floor, taking photos, and I caught this moment. This moment came not too long after he came running, telling me he wanted to be a "flyer guy." The quote from the Cosmo Cricket's Jack's World papers was too perfect.
I loved the clouds on the background paper, but didn't have any to work with on the page. No problem, I used PSE 5.0. There is a cloud element and I printed it onto white cardstock. They looked pretty flat. To add some interest, I stippled brown and yellow ink in circles on the insides and added blue ink to the edges. I picked those colors because they worked with the papers.
Its sure odd to see his birthmarks, knowing that under the bandages, they are gone. I can't believe that summer is coming to an end-its has been a crazy one. I hope that you are enjoying the fleeting moments of days that are getting shorter. Make sure and take the time today to tell someone that you love them and hug them. thanks for stopping by!

He's such a cutie! I'm so happy everything went well and that he's back to new again. Kids are so resilient...it's us parents who have the trouble! Thanks for the update on my card in CARDS magazine...I want to see it...I'll have to run to the store later this week to see it because I haven't gotten my copy yet!

Hugs,
Amy
