Christmas! Its never too early!

The BG Fruitcake paper caught my eye a couple of weeks ago and I knew what I wanted to create with it. I cut the ornaments out of a second sheet of paper and mounted them with foam dots. The ornaments and the center of the large, red berries were glittered. (It doesn't show well in these photos, but it is sparkly! :))

I also painted on various places of the paper with Radiant Pearls. I painted the red, white, and light blue berries, along with the left side of the long, blue ornament. Typically, you would stipple the Pearls on, but I wanted a more controlled application, so I used a small paintbrush. They take a bit to dry, but well worth it!
I picked up a shadow frame tonight and it really finished the project. I wanted a frame that would not squish the dimensional look. Oh, and I also added string to the places that the ornaments were "tied" to the paper.
